PASHA BULKER - Nobby's Beach
In June 2007 savage storms hit the coast of New South Wales Australia. Newcastle was one of the worst hit towns. The winds and seas were that wild that one of the ships waiting at sea to load up with coal ran aground on the sand of the main beach in Newcastle,Nobby's Beach.
Newcastle had never seen so many tourists and efforts made by the local council to buy the ship as a perminent tourist attraction failed. After being beached for just over three weeks 4 tug boat pulled the Pasha off the shore just as high tide hit.
